I feel terrible that all of my clients have not had equal blog posting rights. I just been plain neglectful and I apologize. Somewhere, I just stopped posting and I didn't know where to pick it back up. Since I'm taking off the month of June due to our new baby girl, I thought why not start again. I'm feeling bloggy and I've taken MANY blog worthy posts - so, here's to catching up!

I have SO many wonderful sessions to share and I'm going to TRY to play catch up for my poor, neglected blog. Photo sessions are all about comfort. If a child is comfortable during the session, the pictures are guaranteed to exceed all expectations. This session was no different, big G walked through knee high weeds to access the water front and waded his way to and from. He was in his element and it really shows!

This mom had a busy week...her oldest and only daughter started kindergarten, her baby turned one AND family pictures. Big G stole the camera modeling and posing left and right. I post these pictures with a heavy heart...this session was a tearjerker and I can't even imagine the complexity of emotion for the family. The dad is leaving tomorrow for Iraq. I wanted to quickly post just a few for them to see before he embarks on a year long journey.

My biggest compliment, aside from people falling in love with the portraits, are when moms say, "this was easy" and this little gem made this session a dream!

I took these pictures back in May at one of the few home games. His mom was interested in just a few actions shots and we decided to turn them into a book. Here's a few pics of the pages...not to many, I don't want to ruin the anticipation and the surprise. I really enjoyed seeing the dynamics of the game from a photographers point of view as opposed to a spectator. Always love doing something different...

This family was unbelievable...I love what I do and I feel blessed following every session but this one was EXTRA special. The girls were literally begging me to take MORE pictures - and this was after an hour session, rain and Kansas humidity. Love it!

I could not wait to meet this little guy. I photographed a maternity shoot of his parents a few months back and the anticipation of meeting made me GIDDY! Would he look like mom? Would he look like dad? Red hair? Brown Hair? Blues eyes? Brown eyes? They disclosed a possible name and I couldn't wait to hear the final decision.

He was worth the wait and his name and looks fit him perfectly - just like him. PERFECT!
